Bilbo and the Dwarves try to defend the mountain of treasure they possess in Erebor from others who also claim it, while also fighting off an army of Orcs led by Azog the Defiler and fueled by the evil power of Sauron. With the hope of the entire Middle Earth kingdom resting on Bilbo, the company must unite dwarves, elves, and men in order to stand a chance against the forces of evil.
