In the year 1956, in the northern region of France, a group of courageous underground miners is tasked with transporting a professor to a depth of over a thousand meters below the Earth's surface to collect samples. During their expedition, a massive landslide blocks their path back to the surface, leaving them with no choice but to explore an ancient crypt discovered deep within the mine. Little do they know, this crypt holds an ancient, terrifying creature of legend, forever trapped to torment those who dare to wake it.
