Miny, a bubbly and free-spirited tomboy, lives in a quaint village in Haryana. Her father, Bhatti, is set on arranging an unwanted marriage for her with Sunny, but Miny has other plans. When her father sells Viren's savings, stashed away in rickshaws, Viren storms Miny's engagement to recover his money. Miny seizes this opportunity to escape the unwanted marriage, and in the process, they both land up at Viren's family mansion. Miny asks for a ransom from her father, who happily pays it to get her back. Miny is eventually married off to Sunny in Punjab
