Dr. Rajeev and his wife Sujata travel from Dubai to a rural village to attend the last rites of Sujata's best friend and ex-lover, a Sufi musician. During the journey, Sujata reminisces about their past romance and her decision to pursue her passion for music in Dubai, only to realize that her dreams have not materialised as expected. As they interact with the village residents during the ceremony, Sujata begins to question her life choices and wonders if she can find a new purpose for her career and her relationship with Rajeev.
