An undercover spy, John Avery (Jason Isaacs), on a mission to uncover a group of terrorists and prevent a major terrorist attack, struggles to balance his duty as a father to his emotionally troubled daughter Lily and his newfound loyalty to his criminal mentor and friend Eddie. When Lily's life is threatened as a result of a tragic accident, the stakes escalate, and it becomes a race to save her life as well as prevent world destruction at the hands of a villainous organization.
