Deepak is a humble young man, working at a grocery store, living with his mother and sister, and struggling to find his place in life. One day, he meets Aarthi, who recently moved to Chennai from Trichy, at a wedding. Aarthi, an ambitious journalism student, immediately catches his eye with her determination and beauty. However, Aarthi comes from a upper middle-class family whereas Deepak doesn't belong to a very affluent family.
