Vijay, a talented but unsuccessful film director, turns to selling Kondapalli toys, a traditional craft passed down from his sculptor parents, to make ends meet. When he falls in love with Hassini, the daughter of a wealthy landlord, his happiness is threatened by her father, Organic Venkataramana, who disapproves of their relationship. Hoping to regain his footing as a filmmaker, Vijay seizes an unexpected opportunity to direct a film, but he soon finds himself in a desperate struggle to pursue his dreams, win Hassini's love, and overcome the obstacles in his path.
