In the spring of 1943, the Nazis are patrolling the Spanish coast, suspicious of any Allied activity. Two British intelligence officers, Charles Cholmondeley and Leo Marks, devise a daring plan to deceive the Nazis and turn the tide of the war. Their operation, codenamed Mincemeat, involves creating a fake identity and forging documents to make the Nazis think the Allies will launch a diversionary attack on Greece. To execute their plan, they use a dead body sourced from a London mortuary, carefully dressing him up and planting false documents on him, hoping the Nazis will find the body and take the bait.
