Twenty year old ecologist-in-training Elya destroys the plans of a greedy construction magnate, Matvey, to develop a forest park. Matvey attempts to seduce Elya in order to change her mind, but she stands firmly against him. Eventually he grows intrigued by her resolve and proposes a bet: seven romantic days under his terms, after which he'll abandon his development plans if she still refuses to budge. Elya sees this as an opportunity to prove herself, comparing her challenge to that of a heroine in a movie, but soon learns that Matvey is not at all the person she imagined.
