En route to invade India, Emperor Nader Shah's undefeated army is attacked by Sikh rebellions. The Emperor demands the rebels' arrest, but the Sikhs defy his authority, leaving him with no choice but to hire five civilians to play Sikh rebels and infiltrate the insurgency. As they immerse themselves in the Sikh way of life, the five actors begin to question their own beliefs and confront internal conflicts that challenge their morals and loyalty to Nader Shah.
