Omar, a young and talented Syrian musician, carries a heavy burden of grief and nostalgia which leads him to embark on a quest to forge a new life in a foreign land. Leaving behind his beloved grandparent's home in Syria, Omar finds himself on a remote and fictional Scottish island, where he and his fellow refugees face mounting challenges and discrimination.
