A reformed thief's quest for employment is derailed by a meddling bureaucrat, sending him on an odyssey that forces him to rely on skills from his old life. Along the way, he encounters a mysterious and spry elderly man who holds the key to his redemption; however, when he finds himself marked for death, he realizes that his newfound friend is not as innocent as he seems.
