Mathew Devassy, a retired bank manager with a jovial nature and a happy life, decides to enter the local panchayat elections. Expecting the support of his loving wife Omana and their children, Mathew is instead met with a shocking surprise when Omana files for divorce, claiming that Mathew is gay.
