Nine hundred and 76, referred to as 976, lives inside a glass and concrete prison cube, subjected to torturous experiments by two evil scientists. But with each tormentor comes progress, and 976 begins to uncover the truth behind his existence and the reality of his prison. As he plans his elaborate escape, he comes to realize his imprisonment was a ploy to extract a purpose for his powers, and he triumphs over his shackles to break free with a newfound sense of purpose and understanding of the world.
