Four boyhood friends return to the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, hoping to rebuild their lives and their homes. When they discover that their neighborhood is still in shambles and job opportunities are scarce, they turn to a local gangster for work. He assigns them a risky and lucrative heist job: infiltrate a downtown casino and walk away with the loot, but it's not long before the crew realizes that someone is leaking inside information to the police.
