Recent college graduate Jaime Reyes suddenly discovers that he is no longer the helpless kid in his dysfunctional Latinx family, but finds himself inadvertently entangled in a supernatural battle of interdimensional proportions when he acquires an ancient artifact of power known as the Scarab, and must become the hero his destiny has ordained him to be.
