Violetta is a cabaret dancer in Madrid who was raised in a brothel belonging to her paternal aunt. She discovers that she is not the biological daughter of the woman who raised her and sets out on a journey to meet her biological mother, a prospect that leads Violetta to confront her past and deeply rooted family secrets.
